Farewell to Marc Servotte
It is with great sadness that we inform you that Marc Servotte, our former board member and chairman, passed away peacefully on November 28, 2024.
As a board member, Marc contributed by organizing numerous excursions that always excelled in inventive quality, including two memorable weekend excursions, one in the Duchy of Luxembourg (2006) and one in the Gaume region (2008). He was our respected chairman in 2015-2016.
In recent years, due to his age and health condition, Marc limited himself to exploring interesting places in Belgium, not too far from home. Sometimes he sent us his findings to inspire our further planning.
We will never forget Marc’s sense of humor, his artistic skills as a watercolorist and his passion for gardens and gardening. Marc was the perfect gentleman, always cheerful and genuinely interested in the people he met. We will miss him dearly.
