Secretary

Leo Nollet, born in 1948, Ph. D. in Sciences in 1978, retired in 2011.
Was a prof. Biochemistry and Microbiology at Hogeschool Gent.
Still active as editor of books on analysis of foodstuff and environmental parameters. Spents his spare time to his 5 grandchildren and many social activities.
Lives in the beautiful medieval city of Gent.

Studied law and European law at the Free University of Brussels and the College of Europe.
Fulfilled various senior management and other assignments within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Living in Sint-Genesius-Rode, at the edge of the beautiful Zoniënwoud.

Special interests: travelling, hiking, protection of nature, gardening and wide range of social & cultural activities.

Born & raised in the 'Kempen', north of Antwerp.
MSc Pharmaceutical Sciences - University of Ghent.
Various national and international management functions in the pharmaceutical industry.
Retired since 2010.
Happy to live near Ghent, one of Europe's most authentic historic cities.

Interests: Photography - Classical music - Travel - Gardening.

Life member of the National Trust of Scotland since 1975.
Joined the NTAB in 2011, took over from Nick Fern as treasurer in 2015.
Born in London, but moved back to Scotland almost immediately.

BA joint honours Philosophy and Economics from the LSE (London University).
CA (member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland).
Worked in Edinburgh, Milan and London – met Dutch husband in Milan.

Since marriage, lived in London, Netherlands and Belgium (since 1989).
