Those who took part in our 2024 UK trip will remember our visit to the Southwell Workhouse, the way poverty and homelessness were dealt with in 19th-C England. In the same period a similar system was established in the United Netherlands (current BeNeLux) as well.

On Friday, 8th May, in the morning, we will have a guided tour of the Chinese and Silk Road House close to the Royal Domaine of Laken. After a light lunch, we will be visiting the Royal Greenhouses, a vast well-known complex of monumental heated greenhouses.
