Year End Reception in the Egmont Palace

Our traditional Year End reception will this year take place in Brussels historical Egmont Palace.
We will start with a short lecture on this famous palace, followed by a guided visit of the main rooms and a festive reception.
It will be a unique occasion to view this prestigious “hotel” whose origins go back to the 16th century when the residence was built for Count van Egmont, later to be beheaded.
The Dukes of Arenberg were the owners until 1918 when they sold it to the City of Brussels. It later became the property of the Belgian State in 1964 and the Treaty of Accession of the UK to the EU was signed in here in January 1972.
