Scotland – Perthshire and Fife

Exploring the Southeastern Highlands

The NTAB Committee has decided to remain faithful to our great tradition of crossing the Channel for an annual UK trip.

This year’s destination is the Scottish counties of Fife, Perthshire and Angus, with the city of Dundee as starting point for our daily excursions.

We are now planning the itinerary for a 6 day/5 night trip, departing on Monday June 8th and returning on Saturday June 13th.

A Brussels Airlines flight will take us from Brussels Zaventem to Edinburgh, where a coach will collect us for a journey North with stops and visits along the way, arriving in Dundee at the end of the first day.

In Dundee we stay 5 nights at the Holiday Inn Express Hotel (adjacent to the harbour) from where we will make daily excursions in all directions, visiting properties of the National Trust for Scotland (NTS) and other highlights such as Scone Palace, Glamis and Blair castle while enjoying the stunning landscapes of the Southeastern Highlands.

Participation is limited to 35 people and is only open to NTAB members.

Group access to NTS properties requires membership in the National Trust, the National Trust for Scotland, or any other INTO-affiliated heritage organization.

Expected price range: €1500 per person sharing a double room; a single room supplement will apply.

A detailed trip brochure (with itinerary, conditions, final price) and a booking form was  made available in December.

At the time of formal booking (by means of the booking form) the payment of a 400€ deposit will confirm your participation.

You are also reminded that all EU nationals need an ETA (Electronic Travel Authorization) for entering the UK. The ETA, which must be applied online before departure, is linked to your passport and lasts for 2 years or until your passport expires.
